I took Fletcher to the Border's Story Time today. We read a book and made a tiger door hanger. Pretty fun, and he got two chocolate chip cookies to boot!
Yesterday, we met a group of people from the early Richardson PTA at the Dallas Children's Museum in the Valley View Mall in Dallas and had a great time. We spent about two and a half hours there, playing with all of the different exhibits. Fletch even had his face painted. (a star, which, along with the moon and airplanes, are his favorite things)

I have been delinquent in marking time in Fletcher's life. He is now 27 months old and will be 28 months old in a couple of weeks. Fletcher did enjoy Christmas and the time we spent afterwards at Grandmommy Judy's house.
Fletcher is growing like a weed. He weighs 35 pounds and is over 3 feet tall. I keep noticing how his pants and shirts look too small and run out to buy the next size up. He is talking so much more now, though most of the conversation is demands to put in a Barney DVD or turn on the VCR with the tape of Boohbah in it. He has actually figured out how to do most of that himself.
Fletcher is still enjoying Kindermusik on Saturdays and Joe takes him to story times at Barnes & Nobles and Borders during the week. Today, in fact, Fletcher gets to go to a local rec center for a Valentine's party. I'm sure he'll love it.
Fletcher is still a picky eater and will mostly ask for McDonald's biscuits, nuggets and french fries. We hope to expand his palate one day.
